Sioux will be present at the Robo CT User Forum in April 2026 at the Technologie Campus Plattling in Germany, where research and industry come together to address the practical implementation and technical challenges of robotic CT.
At the forum, Sioux will showcase its Condition Monitoring X-ray system (CMX), a solution designed to enable continuous, automated quality assurance for X-ray CT systems operating in high-throughput and fully automated environments.
CMX monitors the condition of CT systems in real time by combining classical image analysis with neural-network-enabled diagnostics. Instead of detecting deviations only at predefined calibration intervals, CMX continuously analyses projection and reconstruction data to identify the underlying causes of image quality degradation, such as increased noise, blurring, or detector misalignment. This provides early insight into system behaviour, reduces false positives and negatives, and supports stable, predictable inspection performance.
Developed at Sioux’s X-ray expertise centre in Erlangen, CMX closes the gap left by traditional interval-based calibration approaches. By using existing data streams and integrating seamlessly with current CT inspection setups, CMX enables condition monitoring without interrupting production, making it a practical and scalable solution for industrial robotic CT applications.
