Donna-Lee van den Bergh joined Sioux as a Mechanical System Designer in 2021. She studied Mechanical Engineering in South Africa and has since accumulated a wealth of experience in structural design and engineering.

At Sioux, she decided to broaden her horizons and now works on design and validation of fluid and thermal systems. Donna-Lee: 'What I enjoy most about my job is working with others to solve complex problems. Brainstorming about how we can improve something, make it faster or reduce costs. It's great to see a design come to life in practice, built and then tested to see if it works. That gives real satisfaction.'

'Solving complex problems together, find the most fun'

Sincere attention for each other

Donna-Lee: 'What I like most about Sioux as a company is the way colleagues treat each other. One of the core values is 'people first', and you really notice that: there is sincere attention for each other.'

Developing together

'Sioux not only offers a training budget to develop your skills, but also the space to reflect. You can ask colleagues for feedback and look together at your next steps. You can look together at how you want to develop yourself further and how to get there. There is a strong support structure that helps you do that.'
